Cascading Style Sheet Generator Help - Link Attributes

Link State?
Unused is a link that hasn't been clicked on yet.
Visited has been used. it has already been clicked.
Active is being clicked on and you didn't get to that page yet.
Mouse Over when you put the mouse cursor over the link it changes.
(Mouse Over Only works with modern browser's)

Link Color?
Enter a color as a hexadecimal value or actual color name.
e.g. #FF0000 is the color red. Use our color chart.

Font Size?
The size of the text for the link. A size of 8px is small and 48px is very large. Our body text is 14px. Some examples of the sizes are:

  • This is 8px size.
  • This is 10px size.
  • This is 12px size.
  • This is 14px size.
  • This is 16px size.
  • This is 24px size.
  • This is 32px size.
  • This is 48px.

Bold?
This is the font weight. Checking this box makes the links "bold" as compared to "normal" weight.

Italic?
This is the font style. Checking this box makes the letters slanted so they are emphasized and stand out from the rest. This is "italic" this is "normal."

Text Decoration?
This makes the link have a line under it, over it, through it or no line. If you make the Unused and Visited links have no line and Active and Mouse Over have a line it produces a nice effect. Here is an example: The PCman Website in this example we also left the Mouse Over color unchanged.
